Itinerary

All our trips begin from our mooring at Lock 16, Camelon, From there we travel along the Forth & Clyde Canal 1 mile till we reach the swing bridge at beginning of the Falkirk Wheel site, once we are through the swing bridge from this point our:

Camelon trip: will turn around at the front of Golden Jubilee Lock and cruise back along the Forth & Clyde Canal to our mooring location at Lock16.

Bonnybridge  trip: will moor here and allow you 20 mins to look around the Falkirk Wheel site, On your return we will carry on along the Forth & Clyde Canal to the Hydraulic Bridge at Bonnybridge where we will turn and you can disembark for 10 mins,  then we will cruise back to our mooring location at Lock 16

Through the Falkirk Wheel & Falkirk Tunnel trips: will carry on entering the Golden Jubilee Lock, where you will enjoy the experience of ascending in a Lock, sail over  the Falkirk Wheel basin entering the Gondola/Caisson on the Only rotating boat lift in the world The Falkirk Wheel.

We are then lifted to the top of The Falkirk Wheel where we exit the Gondola, travel along the newly created Viaduct and go through the 180m Long Roughcastle Tunnel which goes under Antonines Wall, on to the South Basin to the 2 locks at the start of the Union Canal. 

At this point our Falkirk Tunnel trip will carry on up through the 2 locks and travel along the Union Canal where the views are simply breathtaking till we reach and travel through the Falkirk Tunnel, just after here is our turning point for our return journey where you marvel at all these amazing experiences in reverse.

From the South Basin both trips travel back down through the Tunnel and wonderful Falkirk Wheel. 

Once descended at Golden Jubilee Lock we will moor at the Pontoon and allow you to disembark for a 30 mins visit to the Falkirk Wheel Visitors Centre. After which we will cruise back along to our mooring at Lock 16, Camelon.
